Dr. Gigglez is an underground hip hop artist from Rhode Island. Getting started in the year 2000 Dr. Gigglez would shock audiences with his wild horror based content, lyrics & beats. In 2001 he released his debut album “The Doctors In” under Rydas Records which would gain him some attention and solidify his name in the horrorcore genre of hip hop. In 2003 he would leave this record and found his own imprint called Trauma Squad Productions where he would go on to release a bunch of projects until what would be thought to be his final release in 2010 called “Mentally Unstable”.
After the release of Mentally Unstable Dr. Gigglez would vanish from the music scene completely leaving many baffled and wondering what happened Rhode Islands wildest hip hop act. It would be a long 12 years before suddenly and without notice he would re-appear with the 2022 album “The Resuscitation”. Upon his return he would hook up with the billboard charted Canadian producer J Reno and start creating an entirely new sound and style. The 2022 album release would hit hard and and solidify the good Doctor’s spot again in the realm of Underground Rap!
At the end of 2022 he would release a follow up EP titled “Welcome to 13th World”. An EP created from his love of Haunts and the Halloween season geared towards the visitors of the 13th world haunts! With these two releases the momentum was set & the year 2023 shaped up to be big. During this time Dr. Gigglez signed to Leathal Wreckords with longtime associate Fury and release the EP “Till Death Do Us Part”. He would also appear on songs with the likes of Fury, Bizarre of D12, King Gordy, Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse & others!
In recent months Dr. Gigglez released the single “Scalpels Up” to stir the pot while the upcoming album “Dead Inside” was put together. To date the album “Dead Inside” is widely regarded as his best work and features an array of artists like Fury, LV ( Gangstas Paradise ), J Reno, Gibby Stites, Problemattik, Ether and More and includes the smash underground single “Prime” & “Casket Monsters”.
